Sold to the highest bidder! The Jockiz primary market operates on an auction system. Jockiz offers a selection of digital jockey cards, licensed officially by France Galop and Le Trotteur Français, the two horse racing organizing bodies in France, ensuring their authenticity. Jockiz cards are NFTs, and the primary market functions on the blockchain, ensuring transaction transparency, security, and traceability.
You can bid on cards of your choice, from leading jockeys to emerging talents, in what's known as "English" auctions, open for a set period (minimum 2 days or 48 hours, and maximum 1 week or 168 hours). The player who makes the highest bid at the end of the allotted time wins the card.
Auctions run all year round (365 days). You can log into Jockiz at any time and place your bids on the cards you wish to acquire most.
If there's a bid during the last minute, the auction's countdown resets to one minute.
Each auction starts with a set starting bid price for the card, determined by Jockiz. This price is intentionally low and varies depending on rarity.

Users can bid on a card by proposing an amount higher than the starting price or the last bid by another user. The bid amount is unrestricted but must adhere to a minimum bid increment set by Jockiz to ensure a transparent and fair bidding process.
When participating in an auction on Jockiz, while bid amounts are unrestricted, it's important to respect the minimum increments for overbidding. These increments determine the minimum increase from the current bid amount for your overbid to be valid.

Once you win an auction, you instantly become the owner of the card and can use it to form your teams of jockeys/drivers and participate in various competitions. You can also list your card for sale on the secondary market at your desired price.
